Thanks for the other perspective! While I definitely enjoy the later entries for their 80s-ness, I think maybe you've hit on something with my take on this as I really do enjoy that 70s aftertaste in the earlier ones haha.
The dumbest and smartest movies both get people asking what it was all about. I will enjoy talking more about Seed of Chucky than Inception.
